Summary:

The Sales Development & Operations Specialist plays a crucial role in supporting the Account Manager (AM) by driving lead generation, qualifying prospects, and streamlining sales processes. This role combines proactive outreach and meticulous operational management to ensure the AM can focus on closing deals and maximizing revenue. You will be responsible for identifying and qualifying potential clients, scheduling appointments, maintaining CRM data integrity, and optimizing sales workflows.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation & Qualification:
    • Conduct proactive outbound outreach (e.g., cold calling, email campaigns, social media) to identify and engage potential leads.
    • Qualify leads based on established criteria to determine their fit and potential.
    • Research and gather information on prospects and their industries to personalize outreach.
    • Maintain accurate records of lead interactions and qualification status in the CRM system.
  • Appointment Setting:
    • Schedule qualified appointments for the Account Manager with high-potential prospects.
    • Effectively communicate the value proposition and key benefits to generate interest.
    • Manage and optimize the appointment calendar to maximize the AM’s time.
  • Sales Operations & CRM Management:
    • Maintain and update CRM data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
    • Generate and analyze sales reports to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
    • Streamline sales processes and workflows to enhance efficiency and productivity.
    • Support the AM with sales-related administrative tasks.
    • Identify and implement improvements to sales tools and technologies.
    • Monitor and report on sales metrics and KPIs.
  • Collaboration & Communication:
    • Collaborate closely with the Account Manager to align on lead generation strategies and sales objectives.
    • Provide timely and accurate updates on lead status and sales activities.
    • Communicate effectively with internal teams to resolve sales-related issues.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in sales development, lead generation, or sales operations.
  • Strong understanding of sales processes and CRM systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in using sales tools and technologies.   
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience with sales reporting.
