Summary:

The Sales Strategy & Proposal Specialist is a pivotal role that empowers the sales team by crafting compelling proposals, providing strategic pre-sales insights, and ensuring the team is equipped with the necessary tools and knowledge to close complex deals. This individual combines strong writing and analytical skills with a deep understanding of digital strategy to enhance client confidence and drive successful sales outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Proposal Development & Sales Enablement:
    • Develop and write persuasive and accurate proposals, RFPs, and other sales materials tailored to client needs.
    • Ensure consistency and quality across all sales documentation.
    • Create and maintain a library of sales enablement resources, including case studies, presentations, and product information.
    • Provide sales training and support to ensure the team is well-versed in product offerings and sales strategies.
    • Keep sales team up to date on market trends, and competitive intel.
  • Digital Strategy Consultation (Pre-Sales):
    • Conduct in-depth analysis of client needs and objectives to develop tailored digital strategies.
    • Provide strategic insights and recommendations during the pre-sales process to demonstrate expertise and build client confidence.
    • Collaborate with the sales team to present complex digital solutions in a clear and compelling manner.
    • Develop and deliver pre-sales presentations and demonstrations.
    • Assist in the creation of Statements of Work (SOWs).
  • Market & Competitive Analysis:
    • Research and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and client industries to inform proposal development and strategic recommendations.
    • Stay up-to-date on the latest digital marketing and technology trends.
  • Collaboration & Communication:
    • Work closely with the sales team, product managers, and other stakeholders to gather information and ensure alignment.
    • Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide strategic guidance.
    • Maintain clear and organized documentation of all work.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in proposal writing, sales enablement, or pre-sales consulting.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing and technology.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to develop and deliver compelling presentations.
  • Experience conducting market and competitive analysis.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Experience with CRM systems.
